Job Summary
Fleet Technician responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and trailers to meet safety and performance standards; diagnose diesel engine issues and perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and brake inspections; troubleshoot and repair trailer systems including brakes, suspension, lighting, and hydraulics; ensure safety compliance and maintain accurate maintenance records; work as part of a skilled team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics
- CDL or certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- A team player with a commitment to quality and safety
