Job Summary
Diesel/trailer fleet maintenance role responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and trailers; diagnose and fix diesel engine issues; perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections); troubleshoot trailer systems (brakes, suspension, lighting, hydraulics); ensure safety compliance and maintain maintenance records; collaborate with a skilled team to minimize downtime and improve efficiency. Eligible for tool and boot allowances and comprehensive benefits; CDL or certifications are a plus but not required.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics
- CDL or certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- A team player with a commitment to quality and safety
