Job Summary
Fleet Technician responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and trailers to meet safety and performance standards; diagnose and fix diesel engine issues from routine tune-ups to major overhauls; perform maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections; troubleshoot and repair trailer systems (brakes, suspension, lighting, hydraulics); ensure safety compliance and maintain accurate maintenance records; collaborate with a skilled team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Requires 5-7 years of diesel/trailer experience; knowledge of brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics; CDL or certifications are a plus but not required.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics
- CDL or certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- A team player with a commitment to quality and safety
