Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers to ensure safety and performance standards; diagnose diesel engine issues from routine tune-ups to major overhauls; perform maintenance like oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections; troubleshoot and repair trailer systems (brakes, suspension, lighting, hydraulics); ensure safety compliance and maintain accurate maintenance records; work as part of a skilled team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics
- A CDL or certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
