Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers to ensure safety and performance; diagnose and fix diesel engine issues—from minor tune-ups to major overhauls; perform routine maintenance like oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections; troubleshoot and repair trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, lighting, and hydraulics; ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep accurate maintenance records; work as part of a skilled team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency; CDL or certifications are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics
- CDL or certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Team player with a commitment to quality and safety
