Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers to ensure safety and performance standards. Diagnose and fix diesel engine issues ranging from minor tune-ups to major overhauls. Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections. Troubleshoot and repair trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, lighting, and hydraulics. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep accurate maintenance records. Work as part of a skilled team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. This role involves a 7-on/7-off schedule for diesel technicians or Monday-Friday hours for trailer technicians.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
Desired Qualifications
- CDL or certifications
