Job Summary
Diagnose, rebuild, and repair fleet equipment including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units. Complete thorough documentation for work orders and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system. Diagnose complex mechanical and electric problems using diagnostic technology and software. Perform detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision while adhering to DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management safety standards. This position may require driving Reyes Family of Businesses and customer vehicles, necessitating a current driver qualification file and a valid CDL (License A) in some locations. Full-time day shift rotation from Sunday to Wednesday, 7:00am to 5:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED with 3 plus years of related experience
- Must possess own tools
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
- Valid CDL (License A) is highly desired; mandatory in some locations
- Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 pounds
- Must be able to drive Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles
- Must have an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check
- Must have a successfully completed DOT Physical
- Must have Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years
- Must be subject to a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start
- Must be subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse review
