Job Summary
Manage fleet reliability and daily dispatch operations for the Gulfstream G450/500/650/700 fleet, providing troubleshooting and AOG recovery support to the maintenance control center. Oversee coordination of maintenance activities for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft while reviewing OEM inspection programs and service changes. Drive continuous improvement in aircraft availability and operating costs through collaboration with the Technical Working Group and OEM representatives. Assist maintenance providers in resolving complex aircraft issues and develop cost-effective solutions to operational problems. Requires FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, Gulfstream experience, and ability to work flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 10 years of experience in an aviation environment
- Working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
- Working knowledge of Gulfstream Aircraft Service Changes and Customer Bulletins
- Experience of Gulfstream G450/500/650/700 aircraft
- Familiar with multiple OEM and maintenance programs
- Familiar with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR)
- Familiar with Gulfstream manuals and familiar with Rolls Royce manuals
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules
Desired Qualifications
- General and Business Aviation experience
- Experience with Gulfstream and Rolls Royce systems and operations
- Working knowledge of FAR Part 135 maintenance
- Working knowledge of aircraft inspection programs (Chapters 4-5)
- Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs
- Ability to monitor trends, identify recurring aircraft discrepancies and drive long-term reliability recommendations
- Must be familiar with CAMP maintenance program
- Ability to function effectively individually or as a team member
- Successful candidate will be highly motivated individual and a self-starter who works effectively under pressure and within time constraints
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
