Job Summary
Conduct remote troubleshooting of power assets escalated from Fleet Support Operators using digital tools and execute Fault handling procedures. Document technical data generated by assigned projects consistent with engineering policies and escalate significant issues to stakeholders. Monitor portions of the fleet situationally dependent on request and support or execute Parameter and Software updates. Resolve ServiceNow support cases and assist in training new employees while actively feeding lessons learned into procedures. Provide timely communications regarding observed developments and manage customer phone support requests. Perform planned and unplanned Balance of Plant responsibilities as needed. Work on a 24/7 rotating shift structure on campus in Schenectady, NY, with 10% travel requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Energy Technologies, Operations or Computer Science from an accredited College or University
- Associate's Degree from an accredited College OR University with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role
- High School Diploma / GED with 4 years of experience in a technical role
- Must be willing to travel 10%
- Must be willing to work out of an office in Schenectady NY
- Must be willing to work on a 24/7 rotating shift structure
- Must be willing to work on-call support as required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
