Job Summary
Manage the on-site Dollar General dedicated fleet team to ensure on-time store deliveries, tractor utilization, and reverse logistics including backhaul and rolltainer management. Lead operations by dispatching, tracking, and reporting results via the driver management tool while maintaining safety compliance and optimizing load assignments. Develop the annual private fleet budget, oversee driver training and payroll, and champion retention by addressing driver needs such as home time and equipment issues. Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the Outbound Operations team to implement new processes. Requires 10% travel, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and experience managing at least 50 drivers.
