Job Summary
Manage dedicated fleet operations and lead the on-site team to execute on-time freight pickup, delivery, and reverse logistics while ensuring safety compliance and tractor utilization. Utilize the driver management tool to dispatch loads, track results, and optimize equipment usage for improved MPG and idle reduction. Partner with the Sr Transportation Manager to develop strategic plans for expense maintenance, active driver growth, and adherence to federal and organizational regulations. Accountable for the annual private fleet budget, driver payroll, training, and retention by addressing driver needs regarding home time, utilities, and equipment issues. Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the Outbound Operations team to implement new processes and scorecards. Requires 10% travel; Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics preferred with experience managing 50+ drivers.
