Job Summary
Fleet Service Technician to inspect, repair, and perform routine preventive maintenance on company vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems, reviewing and completing repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports, maintaining maintenance records per policy and regulation, reading technical manuals, responding to emergency service calls, performing welding as needed, and ensuring safety. Requires 2+ years of heavy equipment/truck maintenance experience, own hand tools, and a high school diploma or equivalent; CDL and ASE credentials are a plus. Shift is 2nd (2:00 PM – 12:00 AM).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience on heavy equipment and truck maintenance experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technician position demonstrating knowledge of diesel-powered equipment diagnosis and repair
- Must possess own hand tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited automotive college or technical school
- Valid Driver’s License
- Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required
- ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required
