Fleet Service Shop Supervisor- Acheson

Job Summary
Manage projects and personnel in the service shop, overseeing coordination of project planning, maintenance, and repair for fleet camp infrastructure including machinery, electrical, and plumbing systems. Supervise Trades Personnel, Machine Operators, Laborers, and Sub-Contractors while monitoring workflow to identify manpower requirements and ensure competency levels. Provide safety leadership to site staff, conduct inspections for compliance, and develop service maintenance programs with schedules and procedures. Track unit costs, manage site inventory, and coordinate third-party contractors for building and shop maintenance. Read and interpret drawings and building codes to ensure technical information meets project requirements and legislative standards.
Required Qualifications
- Certified journeyman or equivalent certification in a building maintenance related trade, or significant related experience, with mobile camp experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Min 5-10 years of directly related supervisory experience
- Knowledge and skills in MS Windows and MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of JDE or similar Enterprise Software and/or PM scheduling software
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with employees and management at all levels
- Good project management skills to meet deadlines, minimize cost, and maximize resources
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Great customer service skills, strong focus on quality of services, and ability to implement systems and processes for excellence and continuous improvement
- Strong focus on safety, including personal safety, safety of co-workers, and protection of property on the job in accordance and compliance with company policies, industry standards, and government regulations
- Working knowledge of Fleet, and how to maintain all aspects of them
