Fleet Service Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate truck diagnostics, repair orders, and job scheduling to eliminate downtime while inspecting work in progress and advising mechanics. Manage customer communications regarding repair status, costs, and completion times, then conduct road and dyno tests to verify repairs. Track parts availability with the Parts Department, ensure correct billing and coding, and maintain clean work areas and equipment. Analyze daily schedules at least thirty minutes prior to shift start, monitor safety conditions, and perform additional duties as directed. Requires a valid driver's license, minimum two years of shop foreman or lead mechanic experience, and knowledge of DOT/MTO regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 year's experience as a shop foreman or lead mechanic
- Knowledge of truck parts and equipment and truck repairs
- Effective problem solver with the ability to understand issues and find solutions in a timely manner
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in ordering parts/ parts coordination/ service advisor role
- Knowledge of DOT/MTO rules and regulations
