Job Summary
Fleet Service Consultant responsible for triaging vehicle/equipment problems, creating itemized work orders for repair/maintenance/service, coordinating with vendors for parts and services, communicating repair needs and timelines to customers, and maintaining fleet records. Analyzes data for workflow efficiencies and customer service improvements; may provide leadership or training to others. Requires knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and general quality control; proficient in MS Office suite and able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, four years in automotive/equipment services, and a Class C driver's license; CDL may be required within 120 days of employment. Preferred certifications include ASE Master Service Consultant or similar credentials. Location is Austin, TX; standard schedule with potential after-hours commitments as needed. This is an Essential Employee position with public-service responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent
- Four (4) years of experience in automotive or equipment services environment engaging/interacting as a liaison between customer and organization
- Class C driver's license
