Job Summary
Load and unload baggage and cargo, transport items between aircraft, terminals, and bag rooms, and clean cabin interiors including meal trays, lavatories, and overhead bins. Operate powered equipment like cargoveys and forklifts, and manually use hand trucks and carts. Handle specialized cleaning fluids, aircraft recouping tools, and scales. Perform de-icing procedures during inclement weather, including working at heights, and push out or tow aircraft. Manage all responsibilities safely and timely for arrivals and departures. Work overnight shifts, including holidays and weekends, in variable weather conditions while lifting up to 75 lbs. Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver's license
- Ability to work a schedule during overnight hours, including overnight hours on holidays and weekends
- Ability to lift bags and other items weighing up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work outside in variable weather conditions
- Ability to enjoy working under deadlines, working a physical job outdoors, and have an interest in the airline industry
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to pass a US Postal Service background check (in locations handling US mail)
