Job Summary
Conduct passenger transport functions ensuring safety and compliance with service plans. Operate fleet vehicles, including emergency responses, while maintaining cleanliness and collecting fares. Complete all vehicle operation documentation and wear required PPE. Alert management of operational, health, and safety issues affecting service provision. Adhere to legislative requirements regarding hours and tachograph use. Report concerns relating to service users to Fleet Operations or Day Services management. Maintain wheelchair securing knowledge and perform manual handling training.
Required Qualifications
- A full endorsement free driving licence that includes category D Licence
- Manual Handling training
- Emergency First Aid Qualification
- Wheelchair securing knowledge
- Experience in the transportation of passengers
- Minimum of 4 years, driving experience
- Experience in working to tight schedules
- Experience of working with vulnerable people
