Job Summary
Perform pre-inspections on all fleet equipment to ensure safety and road readiness, then diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and trailers with a focus on end-dump equipment. Conduct routine maintenance and light repairs on yard equipment while utilizing diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues. Execute preventive maintenance in compliance with DOT regulations, perform welding and metal fabrication tasks, and complete work orders with accurate service records. Collaborate closely with the Transportation team to ensure fleet reliability and operational efficiency. This day-shift role at Sanimax offers a salary starting from $30/hr to $44/hr, comprehensive benefits, and a consistent schedule supporting work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- MIG welding experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of DOT standards
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices

- Previous experience in trailer repair and maintenance
