Job Summary
Diagnose vehicles using observational testing and technician reports, then perform major and minor electrical and mechanical repairs. Execute fluid changes, lubrication, safety inspections, and brake repairs per DOT requirements while handling various building maintenance tasks. Respond to field service calls for off-site troubleshooting and collaborate with the team on repair status and documentation. Maintain mechanical knowledge of company vehicles and equipment, communicating regularly with the Logistics Manager. Keep the workspace safe and clean while lifting 50 lbs. or more. Requires 3+ years of automotive repair experience and 1+ year in building maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
- Ability to move and lift 50 lbs. or more
- Knowledge of tools and equipment required to conduct all repairs
- Flexible schedule and a willingness to work overtime when needed
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of automotive repair experience preferred
- 1+ year of building/facility maintenance preferred
