Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment, including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment using diagnostic tools. Rebuild, replace, or repair major components such as engine heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions while collaborating with the operations team to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, keep accurate maintenance records, and stay updated on latest diesel engine technology. Variable shifts are required to support fleet operations; entry-level candidates receive on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to complete SRM's pre-employment screenings
- Willingness to work variable shifts as needed to support fleet operations

- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment technician
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
