Job Summary
Diagnose and repair truck, trailer, and yard tractor components including doors, floors, side panels, electrical, and air brake systems. Perform preventive maintenance and routine technical repairs on all company-owned fleet vehicles to ensure compliance with federal standards and DOT inspections. Safely operate gauges, forklifts, shunt trucks, torches, grinders, and various hand and power tools while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues and conduct repairs for class 8 trucks and trailers. Requires heavy diesel truck mechanic skills, experience with air brake and hydraulic systems, and ability to work unsupervised in changing climatic conditions.

Desired Qualifications
- Prior welding and fabrication experience
