Job Summary
Diagnose and repair truck, trailer, and yard tractor components including doors, floors, side panels, electrical, and air brake systems. Perform preventive maintenance and routine technical repairs on company-owned equipment to ensure safety and reliability. Conduct DOT inspections for compliance and safely operate gauges, forklifts, shunt trucks, torches, grinders, and hand tools. Maintain repairs for class 8 trucks and assist drivers with outstanding vehicle issues while abiding by all safety rules. Perform tire repair, mounting, and dismounting as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work unsupervised

- Heavy diesel truck and trailer mechanic skills
- Experience working with air brake, hydraulic and electrical systems

Desired Qualifications
- Prior welding and fabrication experience
- Tire repair experience (repair, mounting, dismounting)
