Job Summary
Fleet Mechanic role responsible for maintaining a fleet of diesel trucks and heavy equipment. Duties include performing routine maintenance and mechanical repairs, diagnosing engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systems, conducting DOT inspections to ensure safety/compliance, maintaining accurate service records, and supporting mobile repairs as needed. Requires 2+ years in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance; CDL A/B is a plus. On-site at Cleveland, OH with year-round, full-time employment and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with heavy-duty truck or equipment repair
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- CDL Class A or B is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Available for overtime and on-call shifts as needed
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and safety protocols preferred
