Job Summary
Diagnose and repair truck, trailer, and yard tractor components including doors, floors, side panels, electrical, and air brake systems. Perform preventive maintenance and routine technical repairs on company-owned fleet vehicles to maximize safety and reliability. Conduct DOT inspections for compliance and safely operate gauges, forklifts, shunt trucks, torches, grinders, and various hand and power tools. Assist drivers with outstanding vehicle issues while abiding by all safety rules to maintain a clean work environment. Prior welding, fabrication, and tire repair experience are preferred.

- Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions as needed
- Effective communicator and team player
- Heavy diesel truck and trailer mechanic skills
- Experience working with air brake, hydraulic and electrical systems
Desired Qualifications
- Prior welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Tire repair experience (repair, mounting, dismounting) preferred
