Job Summary
Self-starting fleet mechanic to diagnose and repair buses and heavy-duty equipment. Perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on gas/diesel engines, drive lines, brakes, electrical, fuel system, cooling, suspension, and related systems. Duties include diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, repairing OEM and auxiliary A/C systems, prioritizing repairs in shop, ordering parts, creating work orders and maintenance records, road-testing vehicles, communicating with vendors and staff, ensuring safety policies, and continuously learning to stay current with automotive technology. Strong verbal and written communication, ability to work independently and in a team, and adherence to safety regulations.
