Job Summary
Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles including brakes, drivability, emissions, steering, suspension, and electrical systems. Perform general and preventative maintenance, inspect for wear, and execute engine or transmission removal and replacement as needed. Log all repairs in the work order system, maintain shop cleanliness, and collaborate with the Fleet Manager to schedule necessary services. Ensure safe transportation for patients and drivers while adhering to evening and weekend schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Ford E Series, Ford Transit, Dodge Caravans
- Must have own tools
- Driver License
- Minimum 5 years of documented mechanic experience on light, medium, and heavy equipment
- Satisfactory driving history / Clean driving record
- Background check
- Negative Drug Test required
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Some holidays may be required
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certification preferred
