Fleet Manager

Oversee fleet operations and maintenance for company vehicles, including preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and service scheduling. Monitor vehicle condition, repair costs, fuel usage, and fleet utilization; ensure regulatory compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company policies. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for fleet repairs and maintenance; maintain accurate maintenance records. Manage driver schedules, dispatch, route coverage, attendance, productivity, licensing, medical cards, and qualifications; address driver-related concerns. Ensure route planning, efficient transportation scheduling, and travel between locations as needed. Maintain compliance documentation, incident reports, and conduct safety reviews; support budgeting and cost-control initiatives. Proficiency with fleet management systems, GPS/telematics, and scheduling software; strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. The role requires the ability to sit/stand for periods, travel between locations, and work extended hours when necessary.
