Fleet Manager

Supervise and coordinate a fleet of over-the-road drivers by providing training, managing assignments, and delegating duties. Control costs through established guidelines for swaps, T-Calls, and repowers while generating accurate weekend pay reports. Appraise performances, coach, counsel, reward, and discipline drivers, and maintain harmony by resolving conflicts or terminating drivers if necessary. Assist in creating department action plans supporting the company's strategic business plan and establish or modify job documentation. Enforce operational and personnel policies while maintaining professional knowledge through appropriate training. Ensure company confidentiality and uphold safety standards within the open deck trucking industry.
