Job Summary
Lead Fleet management staff in procurement, scheduling, and tracking of owned, rented, or leased equipment assets to support project teams. Write and implement policies and SOPs to manage the fleet efficiently, while promoting and complying with all Company safety policies. Establish vendor relationships to negotiate rental, lease, or purchase agreements based on schedule and needs analysis. Provide financial analysis on equipment fleets to recommend CapEx purchases and disposals to the Director of Equipment Operations. Collect data into management systems to evaluate fleet health, monitor telematics usage, and create billing reports. Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and quotes, then manage the Annual CapEx budget for the Equipment Department Lead. This role requires up to 50% travel to regional locations and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and construction management software.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant experience
- supervisory experience
- Associates degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Excel
- Proficient in Primavera
- Proficient in Viewpoint
- Proficient in Construction Software techniques
- Proficient in estimating
- Proficient in construction management
- Must be capable of up to 50% travel by automobile
- Must be capable of up to 50% travel by commercial airlines
- Must be capable of up to 50% travel by rental vehicles
- Must be capable of up to 50% travel by public transportation
- Must have the ability to drive
- Must have proper licensing
- Must be able to lodge in public facilities
