Job Summary
Lead and support logistics and fleet management activities across Defence programs by analysing data to develop plans that improve supply chain, inventory, and distribution performance. Coordinate monthly reporting requirements, build relationships with Defence stakeholders and partners, and support governance, assurance, and workforce management activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes while reviewing technical information to identify provisioning and maintenance requirements. Monitor inventory and distribution activities to ensure delivery objectives are achieved, provide mentoring to team members, and act as a trusted point of contact for customers. Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, risk management, and customer satisfaction. Requires a Certificate IV in Materiel Logistics, minimum five years' experience in Integrated Logistics Support supporting Defence, and knowledge of Defence logistics management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Materiel Logistics or equivalent qualifications and/or relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), logistics engineering or a related logistics discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience supporting Defence or a comparable technical industry
- Strong knowledge of Defence logistics management systems, including MILIS, LNIDs, NAVALLOW, APLCRATES and/or AMPS
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience leading, mentoring or supervising personnel
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- AGSVA security clearance
- compliance to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
