Job Summary

Manage the full lifecycle of AMPAM Parks Mechanical's company vehicle fleet and construction equipment, from procurement and vendor management to preventive maintenance, repairs, and disposal. Design and enforce maintenance schedules while tracking compliance, minimizing downtime, and maintaining accurate service records. Partner with Purchasing, Operations, and Field Leadership to align asset availability with project schedules, prepare business cases for acquisitions, and lead process improvements across the growing organization. Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet-related inquiries and train field staff on proper equipment use. This role supports multi-family MEP construction work safely and cost-effectively within a multi-acquisition environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • 3–6+ years of experience in fleet management, equipment management, or logistics
  • Experience managing a fleet of 200+ vehicles and/or mixed heavy equipment
  • Strong working knowledge of fleet/asset management systems and preventive maintenance program design
  • Strong cost analysis skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple vehicles, equipment types, and vendors simultaneously
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel to job sites and vendor locations as needed
  • Primarily office-based with regular travel to job sites, dealerships, and vendor locations
  • Occasional need to inspect vehicles/equipment in outdoor and active construction-site environments
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without future employment sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
  • Experience managing a fleet of 200+ vehicles and/or mixed heavy equipment preferred
  • Proficient in Excel and reporting tools
  • Experience with fleet telematics, ERP systems (e.g., Vista/Spectrum), or procurement platforms (e.g., KOJO)
  • ASE certification, CAFM/fleet management certification, or similar credential
  • Strong working knowledge of fleet/asset management systems and preventive maintenance program design
