Job Summary
Fleet Manager to own the full lifecycle of our delivery vehicle fleet, including daily inspections, preventive maintenance, vendor management, telematics monitoring, and cost control. Hands-on role requiring mechanical literacy, strong organization, and ability to coordinate repairs, compliance, and logistics for a 20+ vehicle fleet across AMXL routes. Responsibilities include DVIRs, preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, DOT documentation, telematics data analysis, driver coordination, fuel-card auditing, budget tracking, and weekly readiness reporting. Familiarity with Mentor/Netradyne telematics and ASE certification is preferred; valid license and flexible schedule (including Saturdays) required.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of fleet management, transportation operations, or vehicle maintenance coordination
- Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA vehicle compliance standards
- Strong organizational skills — comfortable managing 20+ vehicles, multiple vendors
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Flexible schedule availability including early mornings and Saturdays
- Amazon DSP, last-mile delivery, or logistics/transportation background
- Familiarity with Mentor by eDriving or Netradyne telematics platforms
- Mechanical aptitude or ASE certification
- Experience managing fleets of 30+ commercial vehicles
