Job Summary
Fleet Manager for Caterpillar Oil & Gas and Marine Division, serving as the primary customer-facing representative for an assigned marine account in the eastern hemisphere. Owns the operational relationship with the key fleet customer, coordinates across CAT dealers and product groups to execute service commitments, and drives overhaul and maintenance planning. Leads fleet communications, reports on KPIs, interprets fleet health data (fluid samples, telematics, diagnostic trouble codes) to drive root-cause actions with dealers and product groups, and coordinates cross-functionally with product support engineering and technical communicators on field-failure investigations. Addresses coverage issues, resolves customer complaints, ensures clear documentation of all communications, and handles inbound service inquiries with health analyses and troubleshooting when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar fleet, field-service, or customer-facing technical role
- Prior marine, oil & gas, or power generation engine or field experience
- Experience operating inside a multi-dealer service ecosystem
- Fluency in French and/or Portuguese languages (preferred)
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
- This position is onsite five days a week in Houston, TX
