Fleet Maintenance Technician II EVT (KG)

Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide variety of fleet vehicles and equipment, including light, medium, and heavy vehicles; perform preventive maintenance (oil, coolant, battery, tires) and repairs (engine components, hydraulic systems, brakes, bearings), and participate in installation/removal of auxiliary equipment. Communicate and coordinate with administration and other trades to complete work orders, respond to emergency safety concerns, and ensure equipment is in safe operating condition. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of related experience, and ASE certifications (preferred) plus EVT certification; valid state driver’s license and CDL preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of related experience
- Five or more certifications from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) preferred
- EVT Certification from Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification Commission, Inc required
- Valid state driver’s license
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (A, B, or C with endorsements) is preferred
