Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on cranes, hydraulic trucks, and forklifts, including oil changes, lubrication, and fluid checks. Wash and detail equipment, document inspections and repairs, and collect oil samples for analysis. Assist mechanics with repairs, operate the company service vehicle, and maintain the shop and work area. Follow all safety policies and procedures while working independently with minimal supervision. Available evenings and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 23 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Record review
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record
- Must be dependable
- Must be organized
- Must be capable of working independently
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends when needed
- Ability to work outdoors and in shop and yard environments
- Ability to climb on and off equipment
- Ability to regularly bend
- Ability to regularly kneel
- Ability to regularly reach
- Ability to regularly lift
- Ability to regularly handle tools and maintenance materials
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of heavy-equipment preventive maintenance, lubrication and inspection procedures
- Ability to recognize and document leaks

- Ability to follow maintenance schedules

- Current Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
