Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee the maintenance department operation during assigned shifts, ensuring corrective repairs meet documented compliance standards on transportation and building equipment. Monitor work environments for safety and housekeeping, manage vendor relations, and administer labor contracts while documenting associate activities. Lead staffing, training, and performance management for associates, develop department goals, and monitor KPI metrics to meet financial targets. Handle DOT compliance issues, including physical recertifications and drug screenings, and conduct on-the-job injury investigations. Assist with equipment specifications, software purchases, and safety meetings to enforce maintenance compliance. Requires an Associate's Degree in Heavy Truck and Diesel, five years of fleet maintenance experience, and a CDL A License.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Heavy Truck and Diesel
- Five Years of fleet maintenance experience
- CDL A License
- Two years of supervisory/management experience
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds frequently during loading and unloading
- Must be able to push and pull loaded pallets and carts weighing up to 2,700 pounds
- The employee is required to sit up to eleven hours per day
- Must be able to climb in and out of tractor and trailer often
- Overnight travel may be required

- Heavy Truck and Diesel certification

- Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, conflict management and business acumen skills
- Ability to work across business units
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
