Job Summary
Lead a technician team to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, diesel trucks, containers, and related fleet assets. Responsibilities include supervising technicians, conducting daily shop huddles and fleet walks, coaching and evaluating performance, handling hiring/termination decisions with HR, performing quality control inspections, managing repair diagnostics, overseeing inventory and budgeting, and maintaining advanced knowledge of engine, transmission, hydraulics, electrical, HVAC, and welding systems to ensure safe, compliant, and timely maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ASE Certification (T3 Drive, T4 Brake, T5 Suspension and Steering, T6 Electrical/Electronic, T7 HVAC Systems, ASE T2 Diesel Engine, ASE Master Certified)
- 3 years of experience in maintenance with heavy equipment
- 1 year of supervisory experience in lead technician or management role
