Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

Supervise a technician team responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of a fleet, machinery supporting post-collection facilities, and equipment servicing the container shop. Provide direction to A, B, and C-level technicians to ensure all repair and maintenance work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with federal, state, and company standards. Conduct daily shop huddles, fleet walks, and quality control inspections to track issues and resolution. Oversee repair diagnostics on complex matters, including engine, emission, transmission, brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and perform road tests to determine necessary repairs. Manage maintenance shop inventory control, approve expenses within scope, and prepare departmental budgets. Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and coaching on corrective actions while making hiring and termination decisions in concert with Human Resources. Maintain advanced knowledge of vehicle body control, heating, air conditioning, and welding tools to ensure equipment returns to operable condition safely.
