Job Summary
Fleet Maintenance Supervisor responsible for supervising a technician team performing preventive maintenance and repairs on a fleet, directing technicians to ensure repairs and maintenance comply with safety and regulatory standards. Plans and schedules repair work to ensure safe, timely completion; monitors quality and safety, analyzes performance data, and communicates with upper management. Maintains adherence to policies, controls maintenance costs, and ensures accurate data entry into the vehicle maintenance system. Requires strong knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations, effective communication, coaching and leadership abilities, and the ability to manage relationships with vendors and contractors. Education: High School Diploma or GED; 3 years of maintenance experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role; preferred CDL and ASE/mechanic certifications. Travel ~15%. Must be able to climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate in English.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent
- Three years of vehicle, equipment and hydraulic maintenance experience
- One year of experience as a supervisor, manager or other leadership role
- Valid commercial driver's license preferred
- Mechanic school certification and/or ASE certification is preferred
