Job Summary
Fleet Maintenance & Repair Controller responsible for coordinating maintenance and repair activities across Europcar's rental fleet, allocating repair work to approved repairers, reviewing quotes for accuracy and cost-effectiveness, and monitoring repair spend against budget. Helps minimize downtime, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and optimize parts/labor costs while maintaining high service standards. Key duties include cost analysis and control, supplier and stakeholder management, quality oversight, record-keeping of maintenance history and supplier performance, and reporting on activity, costs, and KPIs. Requires experience in fleet management or automotive repair coordination, strong negotiation and organizational skills, and proficiency with fleet management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in fleet management, automotive repair coordination, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, parts, and repair processes
- Proven ability in cost analysis, budgeting, and financial oversight
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making capability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proficiency in fleet management system
