Job Summary
Lead and develop shop teams across multiple shifts while overseeing technician training and performance reviews. Manage shop scheduling, workloads, and project coordination to ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and communication. Maintain safety programs, conduct inspections, and support hands-on shop work during peak times to reduce downtime. Track department performance to drive efficiency improvements and build strong relationships with vendors and customers. Promote a positive, high-performance team culture within the diesel truck, trailer, and refrigeration repair industry.
Required Qualifications
- Management or supervisory role experience in fleet, diesel, or trailer repair
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, trailer systems, and transport refrigeration units
- Experience with DOT compliance, safety protocols, and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
