Job Summary
Lead and develop shop teams across multiple shifts while overseeing technician training, performance reviews, and project coordination. Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and communication, manage shop scheduling and workloads, and maintain safety programs with regular inspections. Support hands-on shop work during peak times, track department performance to drive efficiency improvements, and build strong relationships with vendors and customers. Promote a positive, high-performance team culture. Required Qualifications
- Management or supervisory role experience in a large fleet, diesel, or trailer repair shop
- Experience conducting employee reviews
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, trailer systems, and transport refrigeration units
- Experience with DOT & OSHA compliance, and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
