Job Summary
Lead and develop shop teams across multiple shifts while overseeing technician training, performance reviews, and daily operations. Manage shop scheduling, workloads, and project coordination to ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and communication. Maintain safety programs, conduct inspections, and support hands-on shop work during peak times. Track department performance to drive efficiency improvements and build strong relationships with vendors and customers. Promote a positive, high-performance team culture. Requires 3+ years of management experience in diesel or trailer repair, DOT/OSHA compliance knowledge, and a valid driver's license. Full-time role with relocation assistance, PTO, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Management or supervisory role experience in a large fleet, diesel, or trailer repair shop
- Experience conducting employee reviews
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, trailer systems, and transport refrigeration units
- Experience with DOT & OSHA compliance, and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
