Job Summary
Lead and develop shop teams across multiple shifts to manage fleet, diesel, trailer, and transport refrigeration repair operations. Oversee technician training, scheduling, and performance, ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and clear communication, maintain safety programs and DOT compliance, and drive efficiency while building strong vendor and customer relationships. Occasional hands-on shop work during peak times and the role focuses on reducing downtime, improving shop efficiency, and leading skilled technicians in a diesel/trailer/refrigeration maintenance environment.
Required Qualifications
- Management or supervisory role experience in fleet, diesel, or trailer repair
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, trailer systems, and transport refrigeration units
- Experience with DOT compliance, safety protocols, and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Obtain a toolbox and required tools
