Job Summary
Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and repair operations for heavy and light duty vehicles, ensuring optimal condition, reduced downtime, and asset longevity. Oversees maintenance workforce, productivity analysis, budgeting, and P&L management. Requires experience managing large fleets, OSHA compliance expertise, and a Bachelor's degree (preferred). Must reside within 40 miles of Odessa, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor for a large fleet of vehicles or multiple site locations requiring knowledge and application of OSHA Haz Com; OSHA Lock Out Tag Out; and OSHA Fire Protection regulations
- Advanced knowledge of engine, emission systems, transmission, brake, hydraulic and electrical systems of heavy equipment and vehicles used by Company to ensure ability to perform advanced preventive and repair maintenance functions
- Ability to anticipate business needs and plan accordingly to ensure that equipment, employees and fiscal resources are utilized in the most efficient manner
- In-depth knowledge of trucking operations, industry regulations and best practices
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting and P&L management
