Job Summary
Oversee the maintenance of trucks, chassis, forklifts, and other transportation modes to ensure safety and reliability while managing drayage trucking costs. Ensure all vehicles are properly registered and licensed in compliance with State and Federal regulations, including U.S. Department of Transport (DOT) laws. Identify and implement efficiencies within fleet operations to reduce costs, improve performance, and enhance fuel efficiency across the fleet. Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs to ensure compliance and operational transparency. Schedule regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime, analyzing performance data to identify areas for improvement. This role supports the group's global sourcing and transport operations, fostering a culture of growth and relevance.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3+ years in Fleet Management role, or a similar
- Must have a Bachelor's degree, or a degree in an appropriate field
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
- Must have a valid Driver's License, with no accidents or violations
- Computer skills are necessary
