Job Summary
Diagnose, rebuild, and repair equipment used in the powerline industry, performing service on hydraulics, trailer wiring, electronics, and structural systems to ensure rental readiness. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on both company and customer-owned assets while visually identifying mechanical problems with computer diagnostic systems. Inspect pulling ropes and cables for damage, perform required splices, and maintain accurate records of time, materials, and equipment condition in computer software. Adhere to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and hazardous material training protocols while establishing effective relationships with employees, agencies, and the public.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years' experience in maintenance and repair of trucks and/or heavy equipment or education in diesel technology
- or related field or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
- Must be able to work in extreme elements
- Must be able to follow all PPE requirements
- Attention to details

Desired Qualifications
- Considerable knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance
