Job Summary
Fleet Maintenance Coordinator Intern will ensure the safety, reliability, and longevity of RFCUNY's fleet by coordinating vehicle drop-off and retrieval for maintenance and car washes, overseeing scheduled cleaning and repairs, and reporting to the Fleet Coordinator. The role involves driving fleet vehicles to garages and car washes, requires driving in NYC during high-volume traffic, and requires strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications. Excellent writing, interpersonal, customer service and presentation skills, plus the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in a CUNY school, working towards a degree
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Experience driving in NYC during high-volume traffic conditions
- Demonstrate driving abilities by taking a driver’s test
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications
- Excellent writing, interpersonal, customer service and presentation skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and changing needs and priorities
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work independently
