Job Summary
Fleet Maintenance Account Manager develops profitable new B2B customer business and visits accounts within an assigned sales territory. Builds sales volume by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing customers, and penetrating existing customers to increase volume. Works with minimal supervision with an entrepreneurial attitude that blends with a sales and service team, acting as a transportation consultant to clients. Requires a valid driver’s license, strong prospecting and closing skills, customer service excellence, and the ability to understand competitive influences and risks within each account. Driving while on company time is expected. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience is required
- A clean and valid driver's license is required
- Basic understanding of business finance
- Must be comfortable with cold calling and prospecting plans
- Must possess good customer service and closing technique skills
- Build relationships with existing Customers by acting as a transportation consultant
- Strong prospecting and closing skills
- Detail oriented and ability to work independently
- Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong computer skills
- Truck leasing and rental sales experience preferred
