Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance on propane-powered irrigation motors and trucks, assessing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment while operating tools and machinery on location. Accurately complete work orders and paperwork, maintaining safe work practices and following standard operating procedures. Collaborate with supervisors, employees, and customers while assisting with roadside services as needed. This role requires a valid driver's license, experience in an industrial or oil field environment, and the ability to work rotating shifts outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in an industrial environment or oil field
- Mechanically Inclined
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Able to work a rotating shift
- Able to communicate effectively with others
- Must exhibit independent thinking and be highly resourceful and capable of solving problems with little supervision
- Must be punctual, disciplined, and talented at time management
- Must pass a pre-employment physical
- Must pass reference checks
- Must pass drug screen
- Must pass motor-vehicle report
- Must pass criminal background check
- Ability to routinely lift 50 – 100 pounds
- Ability to safely climb ladders and walk on top of truck tanks
- Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions: extreme wind, snow, rain, heat and cold
